Terms and Conditions

PowerPlay Party Bus wants to remain fun for all so realise that a few basic rules and guidelines are required. By making a booking and paying a deposit you are agreeing to PowerPlay terms and conditions. Please do ring or message to discuss anything you’re unsure of or need more details.   • To secure your party date and time a non-refundable deposit of £50 must be paid at the time of booking.
  • Outstanding balance to be paid in full at least 7 days prior to the event.
  • We reserve the right to cancel your booking if full payment is not received on time, although every effort will be made to contact you and resolve.
  • PowerPlay Party Bus can be enjoyed by children aged 3 to 12 years, older siblings may be allowed to experience the fun of the play environment at the discretion of PowerPlay staff. Some 2 year olds manage very well on the Playbus, please discuss individual circumstances if booking and there may be children of this age. We want all the children to be happy and enjoy a PowerPlay Party so need to ensure they can manage.
  • Younger children need to be confidently toilet trained or in pull-ups/nappy for the duration of the party ~ as they do seem to get engrossed in play and not want to leave the playbus for the toilet!
  • Socks must be worn on the playbus at all times to use the equipment. (we do have some for sale on the bus if needed in an emergency)
  • Rules of play must be adhered to at all times; these are listed below and also displayed on the bus.
  • Injured or unwell children are kindly asked not to attend.
  • There is a seating area provided to accommodate two adults with the birthday child and we ask that two adults remain on the bus throughout the event. A supervising adult is required to be present at all times and children remain their responsibility.
  • We do not have toilet facilities on the bus and these are the responsibility of the event organiser, please consider this when booking.
  • We require an electric power point to hook up to for the duration of the party, this is just for basic things like lighting and karaoke, minimal cost, it is the customers responsibility to provide this (the cost is minimal).
  • In the unlikely event we are unable to attend, due to adverse weather conditions, mechanical breakdown or other uncontrollable circumstances then we would offer another mutually convenient date and time or we would refund any money already paid in full.
  • Please ensure adequate access and parking is available for the double decker Playbus, we recommend the equivalent of 4-5 car parking spaces. We would appreciate your vigilance with this to avoid obstructing other traffic; it is the customer’s responsibility to provide safe and adequate parking. Please also bear in mind access…. eg. low bridges, low trees, steep driveways, rougher roads/pot holes, narrow gateposts. If in doubt please do check before booking. We are happy to help.
  • The hirer will be responsible for any parking penalty charges incurred and for obtaining any permission necessary to park at the hirers chosen location.
  • As we are a children’s play facility we ask that you respect this and do not smoke on or near PowerPlay Party Bus.
  • Unacceptable, intimidating or aggressive behaviour will not be tolerated on PowerPlay Party Bus. If this did occur then those involved would be asked to leave the playbus.
  • Please be aware that PowerPlay Party Bus is a full sized double decker bus with a height of 4.2 metres and length of 10 metres. It is the hirer’s responsibility to ensure there is adequate space, as well as room to manoeuvre into that space, for our bus to reach your property. If for any reason we are not able to gain access to your property/venue or if we feel we may cause damage to the playbus by doing so we reserve the right not to proceed. Payment must still be made. If you are in any doubt prior to the event, please advise then we can discuss or arrange to visit your property or venue.
  • A damage waiver deposit of £250 is required by way of credit or debit card details, but will only be used if needed.

Rules of playWOW

  • All children should respect each other and play nicely.
  • Only children aged 3 to 12 years are allowed to play on the playbus.
  • A maximum of 20 children to play at any one time.
  • Adults and children must remove shoes on boarding the playbus and place them in the pockets provided.
  • Socks must be worn at all times.
  • Please ensure children are wearing minimal jewellery, for their own safety.
  • No eating or drinking is allowed in the play area. Food and drink is to be consumed in the tabled seating area only.
  • No sweets, chewing gum or bubble gum is allowed on the bus.
  • Injured or unwell children are kindly asked not to attend or play.
  • No smoking on or near PowerPlay Party Bus.
  • Alcohol must not be consumed on the playbus.
  • No belts, buckles, badges or sharp objects please as this can damage the play equipment and the child!
  • No confetti or party poppers are to be used on the playbus.
  • PowerPlay Party Bus does not carry passengers sorry….

PowerPlay Party Bus does not accept liability for loss or injury through misuse of equipment or lack of parental/guardian supervision or not adhering to PowerPlay Party Bus terms and conditions and Rules of Play. All children and adults participate at their own risk. PowerPlay Party Bus will not be responsible for any valuables or items belonging to people in the hirers group. Any items must be left with the supervising adult.
